Larfleeze Celebrates Christmas In DC Universe Online

Last year he had his own holiday comic special. This year, Larfleeze (the “Orange” Lantern) is celebrating the season in the DC Universe Online video game, according to comicsalliance.com.

“DC Universe Online is ringing in the holidays with a touch of avarice in ‘Season’s Greedings,’ a new game update that sees heroes and villains alike working to stop Larfleeze’s planetary plunder,” the site reports. “Similarly to 2010′s Green Lantern: Larfleeze Christmas Special one-shot, the greedy Orange Lantern is throwing a tantrum in response to a perceived slight on the part of Santa. Larfleeze is lashing out like the Grinch and stealing holiday items from Gotham City and Metropolis, with designs on sending them to his Vega System. Green Lantern Hal Jordan recruits heroic characters on a quest to recover the seasonal loot, with the yellow Sinestro offering villains a chance to reclaim the items under more sinister circumstances. What will it take to find and reclaim the holidays? Defeating lots of Larfleeze’s lively/deadly Orange constructs.”

Larfleeze Sightings: Players can receive a Feat if they can spot Larfleeze lurking about Metropolis or Gotham City once a day for, of course, 12 days in a row.Watchtower PVP Map: Players can battle it out in a new 5v5 death-match arena located in the Watchtower.
