Classic ‘Star Trek’ Version Of ‘Who Wants To Be A Millionaire’ Coming

A great game that fans of Star Trek have enjoyed for years is the Trek version of Scene It, which utilizes all kinds of graphics from the franchise as well as interesting questions that vary from the very easy to ones that require extensive knowledge of the show.

Well, another game is attempting to get fans to buy their Trek version as well!

Deep Silver announced a PSN/XBLA game that combines Who Wants To Be A Millionaire trivia gameplay with a Star Trek: The Original Series theme, according to joystiq.com.

“You can choose from one of four avatars, including Uhura, a Vulcan officer, a Starfleet cadet, or an Orion slave girl, and “phone-a-friend” to a Star Trek character,” the site reports.

The game will be available in February “to fans worldwide except North America, Canada and Mexico.” “Ironically, we would be unable to play it if we were in Starfleet’s San Francisco headquarters,” notes the site. But given how many Trek fans will buy this kind of game, can a version that works in that part of the world be far behind? Stay tuned!
