Sadly our friends in the USA have to wait until Monday for the first season of Lost Girl, but tomorrow night UK viewers of Syfy Channel will get to see the second season, which is at roughly the midway point on Showtime in Canada.

In a recent interview for SFX Magazine Kris Holden-Ried who plays the long live werewolf Dyson talks a little about where his storyline picks up after he was magically prevented from being able to love Bo (Anna Silk) at the tail end of the first season.

“That’s actually been a real challenge this year. How do you play somebody who can’t feel love? I didn’t want it to look like I was an android or apathetic. You still have to keep an emotional core going. So there’s a lot of frustration and… borderline psychosis, you know? It was a great storyline to start with but by 20 episodes later I was like, ‘My god, when can we make this man a whole character again?’ It is getting resolved towards the end of the season – I’m not saying how.”

To help promote the new season Syfy UK have provided us with the following teaser video. So sit back hit play and enjoy.

Season Two of ‘Lost Girl’ will premier Thursday 12 January at 10PM
