Darth Maul Returns in ‘The Clone Wars’

Are you ready for it? Did you want it to happen? He was, heck–is, the most talked about character from ‘Star Wars Episode I’ but has the least amount of screen time. Darth Maul is not dead and will be returning from the dead.

How did it happen? That story has yet to be told, but it will be this March on the Cartoon Network series ‘The Clone Wars.’

The voice of Maul is played by no stranger to the Star Wars universe: Sam Witwer. Witwer was the voice of Galen Marek, the secret apprentice of Darth Vader, in the high successful videogame Star Wars: The Force Unleashed. Witwer is also a regular on the SyFy Channel’s ‘Being Human’, playing the vampire Aidan.  And speaking of the dead, Witwer also had a memorable death in the film ‘The Mist.’

Star Wars fans have fallen in love with this quick moving Sith, but will the love continue with his return? Come back in 30 days and we’ll see.
