Seth Gabel Not A Series Regular In Final Season Of ‘Fringe’

Seth Gabel will not be back as a series regular when Fox’s Fringe returns this Fall with its last 13 episodes.

During a recent interview with TVLine, Anna Torv said she thought the odds of Gabel returning were “slim.”

“I don’t think [we'll see Lincoln again],” she said. “Unless we go to the other side, no” — which isn’t very likely since the season-ending  episode closed the bridge between the two worlds.

“A Fringe insider, however, isn’t ruling out a guest appearance or two by Gabel during the final 13 episodes,” noted the site.

Gabel made his debut as Lincoln Lee in the show’s second-season finale before recurring in the third year and being promoted to a series regular for the fourth.

The final episodes of Fringe will return Fridays at 9 p.m. ET on Fox in the States this Fall.
