Logos That Last

Logos. Like lettering they often go unnoticed in pages where spandex clad superbeings fight and melodrama reigns, but Newsarama have an interesting post on Marvel’s ten best logos. It’s more interesting than it sounds.

Hulking Figure

Yes, it’s $300 and yes, it won’t be released until March, but this new Hulk figure from Hot Toys’ Avengers line looks to be worth the wait, and the price. Based on the crowd fave character as played by Mark Ruffalo in this year’s superhero blockbuster, the 16.5 inch (42 cm) tall figure comes with a lifelike head with “rolling eyeballs,” two sets of hands, and of course, torn pants.

Digital Arkham

Jim Chadwick, editor of DC Comics’ original digital series Batman: Arkham Unhinged has this to say about what’s happening in the video game tie-in series.

“For out current arc (drawn by Federico Dallochio) we shine a spotlight on the Bruce Wayne/Talia relationship. Talia, of course, has a significant role in the game. In our next arc—going live starting September 4—we’re putting Nightwing and Robin in the forefront, as they have to defend Wayne Manor from an invasion by Hugo Strange’s Tyger Guards.

With the first anniversary of the series almost upon us, we have some big changes coming up. Announcements will be forthcoming, but for now let’s just say that Batman: Arkham Unhinged is must reading whether you are a fan of the game or just a Batman fan.”
