’666 Park Avenue’ And ‘Last Resort’ Cancelled
ABC have put the axe to supernatural series ’666 Park Avenue’ and the action thriller series ‘Last Resort’. Both these series received additional episode orders a matter of weeks back, but have continued to bleed viewers.
Entertainment Weekly reports that both shows will still air their entire 13 episode order, but after that there will be no more episodes.
The Andre Braugher-starring Last Resort – which airs on Sky1 in the UK – follows a nuclear submarine crew who are falsely branded as terrorists by a corrupt US government.
666 Park Avenue, which stars Terry O’Quinn and Vanessa Williams centres on the goings-on at the Drake residential hotel located at 999 Park Avenue.
Last Resort has generally garnered a fair bit of praise from television critics while 666 Park Avenue hasn’t really had as much love. Either way both shows will be allowed to see out their 13 episode orders, which will please those fans that plan to stay in for the long haul.
