Next weekend will see the long awaited return of the Original ‘Being Human’ to BBC Three and it will be the first season in which we’ll get to fully explore new housemate Alex who joined the series at the tail end of last season.

Late last week the BBC released the new trailer for the series. Which shows us that things are not good for the new gang of three.

The trailer shows us that Tom and Hal have a new job working at the Barry Grand Hotel, where they come up against new villain Captain Hatch (Phil Davis).

We also see Alex (Kate Bracken) joining Being Human’s main cast as a regular, in addition to a return appearance by Steven Robertson’s villainous character Mr Rook.

Being Human was created by Toby Whithouse, who has also famously written Doctor Who episodes such as ‘The God Complex’ and ‘A Town Called Mercy’.

‘Being Human’ returns to BBC THREE on Sunday 3 February at 9PM.
