Comic Book Creator Peter David has suffered a stroke; here is how to help

Peter David, legendary comic book creator, suffered a stroke on December 30th, 2012, while on vacation in Florida.

Peter David has written for DC Comics (Aquaman, Young Justice, Supergirl), Marvel Comics (The Incredible Hulk, Spider-Man, X-Factor and more), and several other companies.  David has recently written the graphic novel adaptation for Disney’s Epic Mickey videogame.  You can find his full biography here.

Despite his successful career and his health insurance, bills will begin to pile up quickly.  So his family has informed us how we can help him out in his time of need.  Specifically, which books of his we can buy that will financially help him the most.

As a recent statement from his family reads, “The most direct way is to buy his books from Crazy 8 Press or from Amazon or Barnes and Noble websites. These are books that he gets the money from directly and the most per book.”

You can learn more about how to help him by clicking here.

As of now, we at Scifipulse wish Peter David the best as our thoughts are with him and his loved ones.
