Fox orders ‘Sleepy Hollow’ Pilot From ‘Star Trek’ Team

Fox has made a few more pilot orders for the fall and among them is an order for the much talked about Sleepy Hollow television series, which is being produced by the same team that reinvigorated Star Trek on the big screen.

Sleepy Hollow is being produced by Alex Kurtzman and Bob Orci (Star Trek). Logline: “A modern-day supernatural thriller based on the legend of Sleepy Hollow.” So, a tad vague on the details. Len Wiseman (Live Free or Die Hard) will direct and executive produce. Heather Kadin is an executive producer and Phil Iscove is a writer and producer.

Also in development at Fox is Delirium from writer-executive producer Karyn Usher (Bones). Logline: “Based on bestselling trilogy about a world where love is deemed illegal and is able to be eradicated with a special procedure. With 95 days to go until her scheduled treatment, Lena Holoway does the unthinkable: She falls in love.” Executive producers include Peter Chernin and Katherine Pope. Hm. What if you really love, say, riding jet skis? Or Belgian waffles? Is that banned too?

And finally we have a show called The List from writer-executive producer Paul Zbyszewski (Lost). Logline: “When members of the Federal Witness Security Program start getting killed, US Marshal Dan Shaker leads the hunt for the person who stole “the list” – a file with the identities of every member of the program.” Ruben Fleischer (Zombieland) is an executive producer.

Sleepy Hollow has been pretty widely reported about since word first leaked about two possible television interpretations of the popular story during late Autumn of last year.
