Joanna Cassidy recreates unfilmed snake-dance scene from ‘Bladerunner’

As fans will know. Bladerunner has celebrated its 30th year last year and the celebrations and homages to Ridley Scott’s scifi noir masterpiece will most likely continue on for the next 30 years.

Over the years Bladerunner has seen many directors cuts come to DVD and there has been many interviews and documentary footage talking about the movie and its impact on popular culture, but we’ve never before seen an unfilmed scene from the movie. At least not until now.

Joanna Cassidy, who 30 – years ago played the replicant known as Zhora a snake-dancer who appeared nude for most of her scenes in the film has recreated a snake-dance scene that was discussed, but never filmed.

The actress, who is 67 and still looking damn good considering the 30 years that have passed since the film seemed to have regretted not being able to shoot the scene 30 – years ago, but has used today’s modern technology to put the ghost to rest by recreating the scene that was never shot for today’s audience.

And here it is for you all to see.
