Lara Pulver Would Love To Do More ‘Sherlock’
Lara Pulver has revealed that she’d be thrilled to reprise her role as Irene Adler on Sherlock if given the chance to.
Pulver lit up the screen in a very sexually charged story, which saw Sherlock Holmes fall pray to the charm, wit and damn right cleverness of Irene Adler in ‘A Scandal in Belgravia’, but the episode closed out with Adler being saved from execution, which has left it open for the character to return.
The British actress is currently appearing in Da Vinci’s Demons, but recently told Access Hollywood that she would love for Adler to appear on Baker Street once again.
“The response [to my Sherlock show] has been quite enormous, to be honest,” she said.
“If the potential is there for the character to return [I'd come back].”
Pulver added that they’d have to be a valid reason for Adler to return to aid Holmes and Watson.
“She is alive. [Sherlock] did save her,” the actress teased. “It would be an absolute pleasure to return.”
Sherlock is expected to film its third series throughout this year.
