Marvel announce two more movie adaptations

Marvel studios have unveiled two more of their comic book characters that will be getting the movie treatment.

Kevin Feige the president of Marvel Studios has revealed that he is looking a bit beyond the second phase of Marvels movie making plans. Thus far the second phase consists of Iron Man 3, Captain America 2, Thor 2 and Avengers 2 as well as Guardian’s Of The Galaxy, which is the only film in there, which is bringing something new to the movies.

However there is more excitment to come because Feige has confirmed that Ant Man and Doctor Strange will make up the third phase in Marvel Studios grand plan. And when it comes to Ant Man Feige emphasized that it’s all about director Edgar Wright.

“Ant-Man is definitely part of Phase Three. Like Iron Man 3, it’s certainly set in the Marvel Universe, but it’s also through the lens of Edgar Wright, which is the only reason we’re making the movie.”

Wright, who apparently has been asking about Ant-Man as far back as 2004, has a signature style that he brings to his films.

When it comes to Doctor Strange Feige is pretty excited about seeing the character brought to the big screen.

“He’s a great, original character, and he checks the box off this criteria that I have: he’s totally different from anything else we have, just like Guardians of the Galaxy. He’s totally different from anything we’ve done before, as is Ant-Man, which keeps us excited.”
