‘Spartacus War Of The Damned’ Trailer Brings In 2013 With Much Blood and Vengeance

Returning next week to Sky One is Spartacus and this time the full title of the series is ‘Spartacus: War of the Damned,’ which is fitting given the fate that lays in wait for Spartacus on his rebel army.
As you can see by the poster above rebels Gannicus and Crixus are in direct competition with each other for who can pull the most ferocious looking face.

Not shown (besides Ellen Hollman, who plays one of the rebels Saxa) are Spartacus’ new opposition Marcus Crassus (Simon Merrells) and Julius Caesar (Todd Lasance). But am sure there is a poster with those characters out there somewhere.
The season opens and Gaius Claudius Glaber is dead. Many months have passed since his defeat, and the rebel army, led by Spartacus and his generals Crixus, Gannicus and Agron continue to amass victories over Rome. With the rebel numbers swelling to thousands of freed slaves, and Spartacus more determined than ever to bring down the entire Roman Republic, the horde become a force that challenges even the mighty armies of Rome. Together, the rebels engage in one bloody skirmish after another and prepare for the inevitable: a full out war.

You can check out the hot new trailer, which was released over Christmas below:
