‘Transformers 4′ will start off smaller
Michael Bay has revealed that his fourth sojourn into the world of Transformers will begin on a smaller scale than his previous three Transformers movies.
In a new interview the director has revealed that there is a big change in approach and design for the fourth movie in the series.
“We’re going to start off smaller,” Bay told Forbes. There’s a brand new cast. To freshen the franchise we’ve redesigned everything from top to bottom.
“The history of the first three movies is still there, we start four years later and there’s a reason why we’re meeting a new cast.
“We keep the Transformers the way they were, it’s just four years later,” he continued. “There’s a reason the Transformers are redesigned. We’re trying to broaden the franchise and give it more places to go.”
Transformers 4 will star Pain & Gain’s Mark Wahlberg and Jack Reynor.
The movie will launch a new trilogy when it arrives on June 27, 2015.
