Barrowman in Talks for 50th Anniversary ‘Doctor Who’ Episode

It was revealed last Friday on the UK breakfast program ‘This Morning’ that John Barrowman has began talks with the BBC about reprising his Captain Jack role for the 50th Anniversary episode of Doctor Who and this news came straight from the actor himself.

Speaking on This Morning, he had said: “I haven’t had any information up until just about right now – and all I can say to you is that we’re discussing things… that’s a total exclusive! You guys are the first to ever hear it.”

He went on: “Even yesterday I was giving interviews and I was saying I have heard nothing, and now I can give you a little bit of an exclusive. I’ve heard something.”

It now seems that the actor is trying to manage the fans expectations by posting various Tweets on his Tweeter.

“”Re 50th I didn’t say in what capacity or what medium so stay calm and carry on. Jb.” Barrowman tweeted when the expected excitement of his fan base went wild.

I personally feel it makes a great deal of sense for Captain Jack to return to Doctor Who and hope that it is more than a miner appearance because it be great to see how Jack interacts with Matt Smith’s somewhat more erratic Doctor.

In the mean time all we can do is what JB says and stay calm:)
