‘Doctor Who’ stars talk 50th Anniversary

Digital Spy have posted a new video, which has interviews with the stars of Doctor Who, who took time out of their schedule to discuss the pending 50th anniversary episode, which will go before cameras in the next few weeks.

Matt Smith describes the episode as epic.

While Steven Moffat and new companion Jenna-Louise Coleman emphasized that the special episode would not be a full stop, but the beginning of a whole new story.

“I think we’ve got a story about the Doctor – and what it takes to be the Doctor,” said Moffat.

The anniversary episode – to be shot in 3D – will begin filming in the coming weeks under director Nick Hurran.

At this point little is known about the storyline for the anniversary episode, but we do know that it will not feature any appearances from John Barrowman as Captain Jack.

Aside from that Matt Smith has hinted that the story has something to do with paintings.
