More Star Trek: Into Darkness photos & plot Revealed

If you’ve gotten a good look at the latest European Star Trek: Into Darkness trailer you will have seen some imagery and details about the movie as previously unseen. So a word to the wise, there will be spoilers ahead!

So it seems common knowledge now that John Harrison (Benedict Cumberbatch’s) villainous character will come from within the ranks of Starfleet. When the trailer begins, we see a meeting of Starfleet brass, which is being targeted by Trek’s newest bad guy as retribution for some perceived slight.

This attack is taken quite personally by Kirk and it seems he is out for some good old fashioned revenge. This one seems quite personal for Kirk just as this villain seems quite capable, and we even see in depth images of our beloved Enterprise falling from the Sky.

But along the very same lines is the most recent Empire Magazine, which graced it’s cover with a beautiful shot of the film’s entire cast, with good old J.J. Abrams front and center in the Captain’s chair, which really does seem to fit him well.

Apart from some great images snagged from the trailer, Empire was nice enough to give us all two new images with which to wet our Starfleet whistles.

Both images seem to have Klingon elements in them with respect to the blaster Uhura (Zoe Saldana) is holding, along with what appears to be a dead Klingon in the background of the image with Kirk (Chris Pine) and Spock (Zachary Quinto) looking off screen at what can only be Trek’s newest villain.

Yes, this is quite exciting and there is nothing like new images from a greatly anticipated movie appeal to the Trek fan in all of us. So enjoy my fellow Trekkies and our wait shall soon be over!
