In a recent interview for Entertainment Weekly Norman Redus, who plays the role of Daryl in AMC’s his series ‘The Walking Dead’ talked a little about the show and gave his thoughts on new showrunner Scott Gimple.

“The thing about those showrunner decisions – they are made without me in the room, without all of [the cast] in the room,” Reedus said.

“But it’s not like it’s a whole new vibe. We’re still doing the same thing. We still have solid writing and the same directors.”

In another interview that was done by Digital Spy Redus described the series as “the people’s show”.

“It’s not really just our thing – we kind of share it with everyone else,” he said. “Some of the input that comes from bloggers and fans sometimes make it into the show as well.”

The Walking Dead – which airs on AMC in the US and FOX in the UK.
