Heroes Alliance supports Free Comic Day across U.S.

Time and again across the United States on Saturday May 4th, 2013, Heroes of the Amazing Cosplaying organization, Heroes Alliance; flew, ran and teleported to many a comic store to help inspire comic fans both young and old!

These cosplayers are everyday folks just like the rest of us with one big difference; they have a calling and have each answered this selfless call to dress in their own favorite comic heroes image simply because of the love they have for comics. But then something miraculous happens, like Billy Batson screaming to the heavens “SHAZAM!”, they are transformed into true Heroes!

When they step out in front of the public whether it be on Free Comic Book Day, at some local charity event, at a children’s hospital or even a convention, what they really do is inspire us to continue believing in our dreams, while living their own. When they go into a sick child’s hospital room, stand next to their bed, pose for photos and bringing a smile to that sick child’s face; who just needs a little more hope to get through their brave battle, they really are the Heroes they are portraying! More than they can know!

So when you see these costumed guys and gals wearing their spandex, boots and cape all day long, for no pay, or gas in return for driving to your event an hour or three away from the secret headquarters, don’t forget to say thanks! Because what they do for all of us is help to keep our dreams, inspiration and hope alive each time they ‘troop’ out to an event. They are Heroes to the last and they deserve our respect, admiration and appreciation. Well Done Heroes and Thank you from all of us who need you more than we realize!

SO SAY WE ALL!
