First video trailer for ‘Rambo’ Video game shows that to fight war, you have to become war



The folks at Reef Entertainment have released the first trailer for the forthcoming ‘Rambo’ video game. Which sees Sylvester Stallone’s iconic 80s action hero make a return to video gaming.

The trailer shows Rambo dispatching attackers with knives, machine guns, his bare hands and anything else that is just hanging around.


The trailer also shows off Rambo’s classic mud-cover stealth technique.

Stallone has lent his appearance to the game, which is based on the long running movie franchise and includes scenes and settings from all four of the Rambo movies.

Rambo: The Video Game will be playable for the first time at next month’s Gamescom Expo.

“We have been quiet since we acquired the Rambo license last August,” the Reef’s commercial director Craig Lewis previously said.

“During this time we have been dedicated to creating a video game for consoles and PC that will allow Rambo fans and gamers across the globe to really get under the skin of Rambo and wield his iconic weapon set in battle.”

Rambo: The Video Game will be released on PS3, Xbox 360 and PC in winter 2013.
