Mark Gatiss join ‘Game Of Thrones’ for season four

‘Sherlock’ star and co-creator Mark Gatiss is packing his bags for Westeros.

The writer and actor who has long been a contributing writer to such cult favorites as Doctor Who has secured himself a role in the hit HBO series ‘Game Of Thrones.’

Entertainment Weekly broke the news about Gatiss starring in next year’s season of Thrones, but details about what role he will be playing are being kept secret.

Gatiss is set to appear at this years Comic Con, which is currently underway in San Diego. The actor and writer will be there to promote the forthcoming third season of ‘Sherlock,’ but could potentially make a cameo at the ‘Game of Thrones’ panel on Friday (July 19).

It was previously confirmed that Pedro Pascal would be starring as Prince Oberyn ‘The Red Viper’ Martell in the show’s fourth season.
