Neil Marshall to helm season four finale of ‘Game Of Thrones’


Acclaimed director Neil Marshall, who is best known for his film work on movies such as ‘Dog Solders’ has reportedly been hired to direct the season four finale of HBO’s hit fantasy series ‘Game Of Thrones.’

This would make it Marshall’s second time behind the cameras on the hit fantasy series. The director helmed the episode titled ‘Black Water,’ which served as the penultimate episode of the shows second series, and it was an episode, which won the director much acclaim and 3.38m viewers when it aired in the US in May 2012.

Season four’s finale is said to take place at The Wall, with Mance Rayder (Ciarán Hinds) playing a pivotal role.

The episode will shoot later this year, with Marshall currently in pre-production in London and Ireland.

Game of Thrones will return to HBO and Sky Atlantic in the UK in 2014.
