Warner reveal plans for a Superman/Batman movie

Warner Bros have revealed plans for a Superman and Batman crossover movie.

According to a report from EW’s Inside Movies plans for a second Superman movie as well as a movie that would have both Superman and Batman in it were revealed during the Warner Bros panel at Comic Con.

The news was announced by ‘Man of Steel’ director Zack Snyder as he approached the stage area.

Then Harry Lennix, who starred in Man of Steel as General Swanwick, read a line that Batman says to Superman in The Dark Knight Returns: “I want you to remember, Clark. In all the years to come. In all your most private moments. I want you to remember my hand at your throat. I want you to remember the one man who beat you.” Is he implying that the movie will focus on the two superheros battling each other?

If so that in itself would be a pretty awesome battle.

We’ll keep our eye out for further developments about this in the months to come.
