The ever popular Rayman is to get an earlier than planned release on Xbox One and Playstation 4 with the newest game in the series ‘Rayman Legends’.

The next-gen version of the acclaimed platformer will now be available on February 21 in Europe and February 18 in North America.

Both Xbox One and Playstation 4 versions of the game will benefit from the enhanced visuals and shorter loading times, which is one of the big selling points of the new generation of consoles.

Xbox One will offer ten exclusive challenges, which must be completed to unlock new time-limited Achievements.

Whereas the Playstation 4 version will benefit from the new controller’s touch pad for scratching lottery tickets, as well as remote play with PlayStation Vita.

Rayman Legends was released on Wii U, Xbox 360, PS3, PC, Vita and 3DS last year.
