Second season of ‘Sleepy Hollow’ may run past 13 episodes

The Fox Network have apparently been real happy with how their audience has responded to ‘Sleepy Hollow,’ which will air a two hour season finale later this month.

At the recent TCA’s in Los Angeles Fox Chairman Kevin Reilly revealed that we may see a few more episodes of the hit show when it returns for its second season in the autumn.

Sleepy Hollow‘s Season 2 renewal is for 13 episodes but “we may do a few more,” said Reilly. Production on the next cycle begins this March, resultant of Fox’s new production model.

Personally I’d be happy with any number of episodes for ‘Sleepy Hollow’ so long as the quality of writing remains as good as it has been thus far in the series. As a UK television viewer I’m used to shorter seasons for television shows and thus far have been really impressed with some of the US based series, which seem to be adopting a similar approach to us.
