It looks like fans will have to wait awhile to see what the cylons have planned in Battlestar Galactica: The Plan. According to the Chicago Tribune Newspaper The Syfy Channel has postponed plans to show the straight to DVD movie to a later, and as yet undisclosed date.

The much anticipated movie, which is directed by Edward James Olmos centres on the much ballyhooed Cylon Plan, which was often referenced throughout the life of the series, but never really revealed. It also reveals the build up to the Cylon attack on Caprica, which fans saw happen in the series pilot movie.

Fans have been waiting with baited breath to see this movie, and with good reason considering the actual series ended in April to a mixed response from both critics and fans.

Thankfully those fans that have a spare wad of cash on them will still be able to get their copies of Battlestar Galactica: The Plan on DVD when it gets released on October 27. Presently there’s no word on whether the movies street date will change.
