Cy Dethan Puts ‘Game Face’ On For Gamebreaker

Basically here at SciFiPulse we are very aware of the UK Comic book scene and try to support it wherever possible. Which is why I bring this latest news up.
While talking to Cy Dethan yesterday he revealed that he’d just signed a three book deal with Insomnia to do a three part series of comics called Gamebreaker.
For those readers in the USA. Insomnia publications is an exciting new company that encourages new comic book talent, and our always on the look out for your submissions, and Cy Dethan is one of the companies rising stars.
Cy posted the following information about the new comic series at his personal blog, and I have to say that being a sucker for an espionage thriller I’m intrigued. Below is how Cy describes this new series of trade paper backs that he is looking to unleash on an unsuspecting public at some future date.
“Those who even remember the legend of Bloodshot Iris and her insane, megalomaniacal schemes consider her a myth. They’re right – and like all great myths there’s a potent, even dangerous, nucleus of truth at her core. When the greatest villain of the Cold War emerges from retirement to reintroduce a disaffected world to the glorious chaos it once knew, she has only one target in mind – her nemesis, the ultimate superspy: Capablanca.”
