The moment is at hand. As in the moment that we’ll see David Tennant guest star as The Doctor in a two part episode of Sarah Jane Adventures.
Rumour first broke of the Doctor would pop up in an episode of Sarah Jane Adventures as early as the summer of 2008 just prior to the second season of the popular CBBC series. However it never happened in the 2008 season, and instead was officially announced during the summer of this year for season three.
Pictures from the episode have already started to pop up all over the internet, which is no surprise given that the two part episode will air on Thursday, October 29 in an episode which will see Sarah Jane getting married to popular British star Nigel Havers.

Recently voted the number one children’s program by UK Television and Radio Listings Magazine Radio Times Tennant shared his thoughts about the Sarah Jane Adventures.
“If The Sarah Jane Adventures had existed when I was eight,” says Tennant, “and [Fourth Doctor] Tom Baker had come in for an episode, I would have thought that was the coolest think on Earth! It’s the sort of proper sophisticated, exciting drama with which we should be inspiring young minds.”
Sarah Jane Adventures currently airs on BBC One on Thursdays and Fridays at 4:35pm – and the episode featuring The Doctor will air on 29 October.
