It seems that Emo angst ridden Vampires are all the rage, especially when it comes to the CW Network in America.

The network which is home to shows such as Smallville and Supernatural announced yesterday via the LA Times that they have put in a full season order for their new series The Vampire Diaries, which is based on the book series by L.J. Smith.

The series has proven to be a fully fledged hit for the network and has garnered an average audience of 3.8 million viewers in its most recent episode.

CW watchers get over this piece of slop. Read the original version, its called “Romeo and Juliet” by William Shakesphere.
