Batwoman Origin Story To be Revealed

BatwomanIn recent years Batwoman has been the source of much controversy in the DC Universe, and her taking over Detective Comics awhile back was only part of it.

With comic book’s change is inevitable and so is re-imaging key characters in the books. Now it looks like fans of Batwoman Kate Kane will get to learn more about her. Because according to writer Greg Rucka and artist JH Williams III we’ll get to learn about Kate Kane’s origins in issue 858 of Detective Comics.

The creators promise that the Lesbian Superheroes second story arc, which is titled Go. Will reveal details about her enemy Alice.

“Go will tie directly into the first story arc,” Rucka told Newsarama.

“This is how and why she put on the costume, and what she did to make sure she didn’t go out and get killed in her first outing.”

DC Comics bills Go as a “shocking and tragic origin story” in which a young Kane’s life changes after she and her family are kidnapped by terrorists.

Detective Comics #858 is out October 28.
