While making ready for the second season of Legend Of The Seeker. The Syfy Channel have teamed with Disney-ABC Domestic Television to present a special “Legend of the Seeker” marathon event on Thursday, November 5 from 6 pm – 12 AM, ET/PT.

According to popculturezoo this Marathon will allow fans to catch six episodes of the first season of the hit fantasy series, which is loosely based on the Sword Of Truth book series by acclaimed fantasy writer Terry Goodkind. The event will also serve to introduce veiwers of Syfy Channel to the series, who may not have seen the show first time out when it aired last year.

The event will kick off by showing the series first episode, which introduces fans to Richard Cypher  (Craig Horner) and Kahlan (Bridget Regan). The first episode sets up the overall arc of the series and centres on Richard Cypher learning of his destiny to be the seeker of truth, the only man alive who is pure of heart enough to wield the sword of truth, which possesses great power.

The opening episode sees Richard partnered with the beautiful and mysterious confessor Kahlan who possesses the power to too see when people are lying, which proves to be both a blessing and a curse for her. Richard and Kahlan are also joined by Zed a Wizard of the first order who is the only person that can name a seeker.

Together they are tasked with having to bring down Darken Rhal. An evil tyrant who plans to rule over everyone via the use of dark magic.
