Star Trek DAC Beaming To PC and PS3

Top scrolling shooter Star Trek DAC, which until recently has only been available on XBox Live is to make a much anticipated leap to both PC and Playstation 3.

According to Cinablend.com the game, which allows players to engage in top down space battles between Federation or Romulan ships is to get its release on PC and PS3 later this month.

DAC sees teams of six players do battle in authentic Starfleet and the Romulan Empire ships. The game has both a single player mode and team based games. The new PC and PS3 versions come with the three match types included in the 360 iteration – Team Assault, DeathMatch, Conquest – as well as a new type called Survival. This new Survival mode asks players to last as long as they can against overwhelming opposition. Sort of a virtual Kobayashi Maru.

Another addition to the PS3 and PC version is two new ship classes – Missile Corvette and Support Frigate – to play with in addition to the original three (Bomber, Fighter and Flagship). The Missile Corvette is a slow ship with heavy weapons that excels in long-range combat. The Support Frigate can repair nearby ships and is adept at intercepting escape pods.

There’s also a new feature, which is exclusive to the PC version, which allows for NVIDIA 3D Vision. So if you own a pair of NVIDIA’s nifty goggles you can now play Star Trek with them.

    Hi..
    In this time not harmony ps3 uses the advanced technique like blue tooth 3ga etc..in game you can also make some changes for tv input.You can play this game in pc also.The images of this games are also very nice and atrractive
