Heroes To Lose Long Standing Regular

Of late we’ve been hearing a lot about Heroes struggle in the US ratings and rumours of pending cancellation come end of season, and one way to address that is to start killing off characters, and it looks like producers are doing just that.
Yesterday Deadline Hollywood confirmed reports that a regular cast member would be leaving, and went on to reveal her it was.
Leaving the show is Adrian Pasdar who has played the role of Nathan Petrelli since the very first episode of the series.
“Adrian Pasdar’s Nathan Petrelli is the major character death happening on ‘Heroes’ this season, and no, he wasn’t told he was getting fired,” E! Online reporter Kristin Dos Santos reported. “He learned about it from a script.”
This latest development goes against what Greg Grunberg revealed in interview earlier this week. When he insisted that the Petrelli brothers were safe.
“I know Adrian is getting killed off, and was pissed about it because they didn’t tell him,” the source told Dos Santos. “Greg could be talking about another death, but I think he’s probably covering and throwing fans off.”
