UK fans who have been waiting patiently for new Doctor Who episodes have a double treat this month due the premier of both Waters Of Mars on 15, November. But also Dreamland on Saturday, 21 November.
Dreamland for those not in the know is an animated homage to the popular 50s B – Movies, and is only available via the BBC’s digital Red Button service or through the Doctor Who website (bbc.co.uk/doctorwho).
Dreamland is written by Phil Ford who has written episodes of Doctor Who, Sarah Jane Adventures and Torchwood. So he is no stranger to the ever growing Doctor Who universe. Dreamland sees the TARDIS touch down in the desert in the USA. Stumbling across a mysterious alien artifact in a local diner, the Doctor is led to Area 51, also known as Dreamland.
Created in eye popping High Definition 3D Animation. This short serial sees the Doctor teamed with two new companions for an adventure that takes place in and around Area 51 in Roswell New Mexico.
