Awhile back when I first heard that ABC had opted to do a series based on the popular movie The Witches Of Eastwick. I was one of those who thought, ‘This will never fly.’ and it looks like on this occasions I was right.

The series, which centres on three witches living in a small well to do American Town called Eastwick has fallen out of favour with ABC according to Hollywood Reporter, who say that the show hasn’t had any new episodes ordered.

Essentially meaning that Eastwick is up the creek without a broomstick, cauldron or any other magical implements I can think of off hand.

Strangely ABC had called Eastwick a quiet success when it premiered with an audience of 8.53 million viewers, and beat NBC’s Jay Leno in the process, which was the start of a trend.

Either way. Things do not look to great for the series and fans shouldn’t expect to see anymore episodes once the current batch have aired.
