‘V’ Remake Ratings Slump Continues…

Written by Ian Cullen on November 19, 2009 – 12:03 am -

Things aren’t looking good for the ABC remake of ‘V’ after a 29% drop off from the series premier last week. The series has lost yet another 18% of its audience, which can only mean perhaps the quickest ever victory for earths resistance against the invading visitors.

The third episode, which aired on Tuesday only managed a 9.3 million (3.1 rating among adults 18-49), according to The Hollywood Reporter’s Live Feed blog. Which totals out as a 50% drop overall from the 14 Million veiwers that watched in the shows opening week.

This drop in ratings does not bode well for the series, which will go into a hiatus after next weeks fourth episode – and will not return to the Spring of 2010.

Hey, let’s go to the movies. They’re showing the first 20 minutes of ‘Saving Private Ryan’, but you have to wait til March to watch the last 80. No, thanks.
