In Review:
Thus far we’ve had a great run of some fantastic episodes on Merlin this year. It seems that trend has ended.

This episode was not only full of plot holes. It was insanely boring.

Ok first off the story centres on Merlin falling for the mysterious druid girl Freya who is cursed. Sadly I just couldn’t invest myself into the story.

The whole Merlin and Freya relationship to me came over as quite forced and awkward despite the actors best efforts.

The episodes pacing was painfully slow and the fact that I was having to force myself to watch after the first 5 minutes should really say it all. I only hope we see improvement for next weeks episode because this weeks was painfully boring.

Score 2.5/10
