Comics writer James Robinson who is best known for his work on Superman and Superman: World Of New Krypton is being considered to head up the next major DC comics event.

In a recent interview for newsarama head of DC Comics Dan DiDio hinted that Robinson could be heading up the next big event.

When asked whether or not Geoff Johns or Grant Morrison would be involved with the next crossover event. Didio said, “”If I said James Robinson, then I won’t bet against him. Basically, if you’re looking for who’s leading the next big charge, James is going to be front-and-centre for 2010.”

When asked whether Robinson’s project was connected to Superman or something else, DiDio said: “The answer to that question is yes.”
