Metallo Returning To Smallville
Written by Ian Cullen on November 25, 2009 – 9:25 am -
In recent seasons Smallville has been coping without Lex Luther and seems to be doing okay with Superman or is that The Red Blue Blurs arch nemesis.
This lack of Lex has given the show opportunity to explore other villains from the DC universe and has seen characters such as Doomsday and Metallo create trouble.
According to Entertainment Weekly Metallo who was introduced at the start of the current season will make a return in spring of 2010.
The character who is played by former Beverly Hills 90210 and Sarah Connor Chronicles actor Brian Austin Green was introduced at the start of the 2009 season.
The character was seemingly killed off in the episode that followed.
The 36-year-old also recently guest starred on CSI: Miami.

This is great news. I tuned into Smallville at the beginning of the season and was highly disappointed when Brian Austin Green’s Metallo came and went in a flash. I hope this time we get to really see him play out the character as he’s such a damn good actor and Metallo’s such a damn cool character.
