Vandervoort Hopes For Romeo & Juliet Subplot On ‘V’

Earlier this week saw the fourth and final episode of ‘V’ to be shown on ABC for the 2009.
In the episode we saw Agent Erica’s son Tyler gets a little bit closer to Laura Vandervoorts Visitor character Lisa, who as it turns out is the daughter of the Visitor leader Anna. In a recent interview for TV Guide Vandervoort revealed that she hopes for the relationship with Tyler to have a Romeo and Juliet twist to it.
“She really is developing feelings for him,” she told TV Guide. “I think that’s surprising her, but she can’t let that get in the way of whatever her task is.
“I think her feelings will affect her carrying out her task. The fact that she has more feelings than she expected is going to be a problem.”
She added: “I kind of want things to go slow for them, and I want it to be a Romeo & Juliet situation in that they have to be together, but they can’t. Erica is an FBI agent and my mother is the leader of the Visitors. That’s two different families being torn apart.”
‘V’ will return to ABC television in March of 2010 and the series will get its UK premier on SciFi Channel sometime in 2010.
