Paradox Opens To 4.1 Million Viewers

Tuesday evening of this week saw the premier of the UKs newest SciFi procedural series Paradox, which stars Tamzin Outhwaite.

The series, which sees police trying to prevent awful future events from happening, pulled in 4.13m (16.3%) during the 9pm hour.

It was beaten by the latest instalment of ITV1′s I’m A Celebrity… Get Me Out Of Here!, which drew 7.82m (30.9%) across the same period.

This said 4.13 Million for a BBC One drama is fairly respectable. So we can only hope that the series, which I’d describe as a nail biter holds onto its audience.

Overall, BBC One edged primetime with an average share of 22.4% to ITV1′s 20.5%. Channel 4 was third with 6.6% (+1: 0.5%), followed by BBC Two with 5.7%, and Five’s 5.4%.
