BBC Announce Doctor Who Dates

BBC have confirmed the UK air dates for the final two Doctor Who specials, which make up the final story The End Of Time.

The first part will be shown on Christmas Day as it tradition, and will be shown at 7:30pm and will end at about 8:30pm.

The second special will be shown on New Years Day as predicted and show once again at 7:30pm. This second part of The End Of Time will see David Tennant regenerate into 11th Doctor Who Matt Smith who start his first season in Spring of 2010.

In other Doctor Who news Bernard Cribbins who returns to Doctor Who for the specials was recently awarded a special Bafta Award in recognition of his long distinguished career and services to Children’s Television. Cribbins who returns to Doctor Who for the final two specials as a full fledged companion spoke recently about the show to Digital Spy.
