ghostriderFor the last month of so we’ve been hearing much about the involvement of David S. Goyer in the much touted sequel to the mediocre Nicolas Cage movie Ghost Rider, and all reports have indicated that Nicolas Cage would be reprising the role of Motorcycle Stunt performer Johnny Blaze for the movie.

Goyer who has spoke often about Ghost Rider in recent months says that the story he is working on with the writers is set 10 – years after the original movie and will see Nicolas Cage return to the role, however when asked about Ghost Rider 2 by MTV the actor said that he hasn’t heard anything about it and further added that he hasn’t signed any deal to be in the sequel.

“You probably know more about it then I do. What have you read?” said the actor. When asked if he is attached to the movie, he added: “Yeah, well I don’t really know how to answer that, because I don’t have all the details.”

Cage was recently reunited with Ghost Rider co – star Eva Mendes in Bad Lieutenant: Port Of Call New Orleans. When asked about Ghost Rider 2 on the set Cage said: “I don’t know [if we'll reunite again]. I don’t know where Eva’s at on that.”
