December 16, marks the cinematic launch of James Cameron’s latest masterpiece Avatar, which is a movie that has many people talking. The main question being is does the movie have any substance to go with the beautiful visuals?
I guess the masses will find out the answer to the above one way or another later this month.
In the meantime to help with the marketing campaign MTV is set to host a webcast, which according to Variety will include contributions from James Cameron and the movies two leading stars Sam Worthington and Zoe Saldana.
The half hour webcast will be a prelude to MTV’s forthcoming TV special about the film.
Producer Jon Landau is also appearing in the webcast, which will feature new footage from Cameron’s exciting new 3D Science Fiction epic.
Managing director of MTV News, Josh Horowitz will moderate the panel. Which will also be available through a live video stream on the Official Avatar Facebook page, where fans will be able to submit their questions live throughout the panel.
The webcast is to take place on December 3 and the TV special will air on December 16.
Avatar opens in cinemas on December 18.
