Usually author Grant Morrison is writing about someone or something else.  This time, he’s the one being written about.

Talking With Gods, a biographical movie (biopic) based on Morrison’s life and works is in development, according to Digital Spy.

Independent film director Patrick Meaney will be helming the motion picture.  Several segments have already been filmed regarding Morrison’s projects at DC Comics and Marvel.  The entire documentary is expected to be completed and unveiled at next year’s Comic-Con International.

“He has an uncanny ability to tell stories that are both accessible and progressively avant garde,” Meaney told Wired. “Most ‘civilians’ that I talk to about the project still don’t know who Grant Morrison is, but Alan Moore is definitely a name they recognize, as is Frank Miller.

Morrison remains best known for his issues of Marvel’s X-Men, as well as his Batman and Superman reboots for DC. Also, a film adaptation of his Vertigo comic We3 about animals that have human-like intelligence is currently being developed by director John Stevenson. Morrison currently writes the monthly Batman And Robin comic for DC.
