The Wachowski brothers who made a huge splash in the late 1990s with the release of The Matrix and have since worked on numerous movies, including last years poorly received Speed Racer have recently revealed that their new project will be set during a Futuristic Iraq War.
According to reports at Total Film. News first broke of this project via Twitter message from Huffington Post founder Arianna Huffington. The Tweet revealed that both Wachowskis are working on a film about the current conflict in Iraq set 90 years into the future.
Huffington went on to add pictures taken from the sound stages, which revealed little more than Green Screens, and gave very little away in terms of the visual look or actors involved. Details about the movies storyline are also yet to be revealed.
The Wachowskis have also been linked to a new Superman trilogy, and have been connected to a potential film adaptation of the David Mitchell novel Cloud Atlas.
