‘Nolan Will Return To Batman!’ Says Freeman

Fans who’ve been worrying on whether or not Christopher Nolan will return to direct a third Batman movie need not be concerned.
According to Morgan Freeman who plays the role of scientist Lucius Fox. Nolan, who is at present working on action thriller Inception, which is slated for release next summer. Freeman is confident that Nolan will be back. However, he can’t say when the director will make that return to the Batman movies.
“I know – I just know – that Chris is working on number three,” he told MTV. “He couldn’t possibly not be.”
The actor went on to add that he and Michael Caine would most likely reprise their roles for the third movie.
“What I don’t know is how that story is going to play out – where it’s going to be and who’s going to be in it,” he explained. “There’s a good chance he would incorporate Lucius Fox and Alfred.”
He also revealed that Catwoman is his first choice as the film’s antagonist. “I want to see Catwoman,” he added. “I have [a casting] idea, but it’s just an idea and I’m going to keep it to myself.”
Freeman’s latest movie Invictus arrives in UK cinemas in February 2010.
