When it comes to Marvel and DC Comics. One thing is true. Change is inevitable. Whether or not its Batman being killed only to return six months down the line or as simple as a new writer taking on the torch. Change in comics. As well as re-imagining characters. Is a fact of life!
In a recent interview with DCcomics.com new writer KT Krull revealed a little about some of his plans for a three part Green Arrow run, which is to be set in the wake of Justice League: Cry For Justice.
Krull is to do 3 stories, which will centre of the emerald archer, and his run on the comic book series will commence once James Robinson’s Cry For Justice concludes.
Krull’s three stories are titled: Justice League: The Rise And Fall #1, mini-series Justice League: The Rise Of Arsenal, and The Fall Of Green Arrow, beginning in Green Arrow #31.
“I was super fortunate to be able to play a role in Blackest Night, and I have to say I’m even more excited – if that’s possible – about being able to take on Roy Harper and Green Arrow as their stories spill out of Cry For Justice.
“James has been building to a monster climax in his book, and no two characters will be as changed as much as Roy and Ollie. And, the story isn’t even over yet.
“The title Rise and Fall says it all in terms of where these characters are headed. It’s going to be a dark and tragic road for both them and I’m hoping readers will be hooked by where Ollie and Roy come out in the end.”
