Four Actors Cast For MTV’s Teen Wolf Remake

It looks as though all systems are go on MTV’s proposed Teen Wolf television series, which takes its inspiration from the 1985 movie. When we last reported on the series in September. It has just been given the green light. However, it now seems that casting is well and truly underway.
Hollywood Reporter have revealed that Four young actors have been cast in the series.
Tyler Posey, Tyler Hoechlin, Crystal Reed and Dylan O’Brien joined the pilot presentation, written by Criminal Minds scribe Jeff Davis.
The original 1985 movie starred Michael J. Fox as nerdy teenager Scott Sommers, who thanks to a genetic flaw in the family goes under a transformation and becomes a werewolf, and thus becomes the most popular kid in school. For the series Tyler Posey will take on the role of nerdy scott who gets his werewolf powers after being attached by a wolf in this version.
The MTV pilot is reportedly a mixture of genres, including dramatic thriller, romance and buddy comedy.
O’Brien has been cast as Scott’s best friend and Reed will portray his possible love interest.
Hoechin is to take on the role of a predatory werewolf boy.
Davis is producing alongside Marty Adelstein and Rene Echevarria.
